Free Consultation at Your Property
We spend 30 minutes to an hour on site. Have your plans (if you have any), your budget, and photos ready.
Step 2
Design, Approvals and Your Quote
We coordinate the architects, engineers and BASIX consultants, explain whether you need a DA or a CDC, and prepare a detailed quote. Progress payments are set out in your contract.
Step 3
Construction
Your project manager runs the site, and you get daily updates and photos in your client portal. You don’t need to be home during the build.
Step 4
Handover
We walk you through the finished work before handing over the keys, and the build is backed by our structural warranties.

Do you help with council approvals?
Yes. We coordinate the architects, engineers, planners, and BASIX consultants your project needs, and we understand local council requirements across Sydney and the Illawarra. We’ll explain whether your project suits a Development Application (DA) or a Complying Development Certificate (CDC), in plain language, so you know what each step involves before it starts.
How much does it cost to build or renovate?
Every project is quoted individually, because cost depends on size, design complexity, and the materials and finishes you choose. Your first consultation, site visit, and measure-up are all free. Once we understand your plans and budget, we prepare a detailed quote for your project.
What happens at the free consultation?
We visit your property for 30 minutes to an hour to talk through your project. It helps to have any plans, your budget, and photos ready. There’s no charge for the consultation, the site visit, or the measure-up.
How far ahead are you booked?
We typically book new projects 4–8 months ahead, so it’s worth getting in touch early.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Hyspec Homes holds NSW Contractor Licence 293419C and is fully insured. We’re also a Master Builders NSW member and an Association of Professional Builders member.
Do I need to be home during the build?
You’ll need to be there for the site visit, but not during construction. Your project manager and the client portal keep you up to date.
How do payments work?
Progress payments are set out in your building contract, and almost all payments are made by bank transfer.
